Leah Hanson MS, LPC

Counselor

Leah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Masters in Counseling.  Leah’s approach to therapy is trauma-informed and uses a variety of practices from attachment, experiential, and body-based modalities.  Leah has training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting (BSP), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Trauma Competent Caregiver (TCC) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

In addition, Leah has years of experience in International non-profit work—seeking to mitigate the impact of pain, stress, and trauma in impoverished communities.
​​In addition to her non-profit work overseas, Leah’s counseling and related experience also includes serving in a community clinic, providing counseling services at a local Children’s Advocacy Center, and collaborating with other professionals in the development and delivery of trauma-informed training modules.

Leah primarily works with adults impacted by trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational difficulties - and more. 

Leah believes we all are invited to engage in healing journeys - creating space to be human - and exploring what it means to engage our stories and the world holistically (mind, body, spirit).
