The Gotchu Lake Day!
Come join us for a day at the lake! This event gives us the opportunity to have some fun, enjoy great food, and mix it up with some friendly competition. All event proceeds will support Gap Relief’s mission of helping the helpers build resilient communities.

Cornhole Tournament
Bring your A game and join us lakeside for some friendly competition! This tournament is open for teams of all ages, and you just might walk away with a prize! Tournament entry cost is $60 for 2 people, and includes 2 t shirts. To register, please click the link above or below.
Cardboard Boat Race
Have you ever desired to sail the ocean blue in a vessel you built with your own two hands? We may not have the ocean blue, but we’ve got a lake and a good cause too—so let’s go! Grab a friend or two and join us for this fun event. Prizes will be awarded for the race winner as well the most creative boat design.
General event specifications (full specifications to be emailed):
Boat race teams must contain at least 2 team members. Each team member must be inside the boat for the duration of the race.
Boats must be built entirely out of cardboard, using tape or sealants for seams only.
Build your boat ahead of time, or bring your creativity and make your boat with us lakeside on the day of the event. Bring your own supplies or use ours, but supplies lakeside are available on a first come first served basis.
Be creative! There are no size requirements for the size of your boat—only that it must carry at least two team members throughout the race..
All other regulations will be sent to participants via email upon registration and all boats will be inspected just prior to the race.

Fishing Tournament
Who doesn’t love spending some time on a boat or at the dock during the summer? A day spent fishing at the lake and saying “gotchu!” as we bring in a catch was the original vision for Gap Relief’s lake day. The finishing tournament will include fun for all ages. While the event starts at 6am, participants are welcome to join anytime prior to weigh-in at 11:30! Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories including biggest fish, youngest participant to catch a fish, smallest fish, and more.
Registration cost for the fishing tournament includes a t shirt as well as a lunch ticket. Cost is $70 for adults, $55 for ages 12-18, and, $40 for kids under 12. To register, please click the link above or below.
Cannonball Contest
Let’s go! Time to make your biggest splash. Prizes will be awarded for various age categories as well as creativity.

BBQ Lunch
Come and join us at 11:00 a.m. for fun and a great hang out time over some awesome BBQ with all the sides and “fixins”!
Adults are $25
Kids 12-18: $15
Kids under 12: FREE!
