Chuck Butler, M.Div., BCPC

Kinetic Experience Coach

Chuck is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with a Masters in Divinity. He has been in ministry for 31 years and has served in churches ranging in size from 100-8,000 and within countless parachurch and camp ministries. During his time in ministry, Chuck has often found himself walking alongside individuals, families, and ministry teams through places of pain, stress, and trauma. This exposure has given him front-line experience--allowing him to walk many individuals and teams through the process of recognizing and responding to personal wounds and their impact. In addition to engaging his own healing journey through personal counseling, Chuck has received training in Trauma-Informed Storytelling models that utilize Biblical stories to foster healing. He has also received extensive training on the impact of pain, stress, and trauma through Gap Relief and has completed training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)—a model that equips him to engage pain through the lens of attachment.

Chuck is passionate about creating experiences where movement assists in the healing journey. The “rage room” experience illustrates how physical activity can be a powerful tool for emotional release, allowing people to move through their stress and find relief. Whether someone is physically active or has more limited mobility, Chuck’s work ensures that the movement and emotional release are accessible to all. It’s a compassionate and inclusive approach to healing that recognizes the profound connection between body and emotion.
