Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is a noninvasive treatment that measures a client’s brainwaves and provides the client with real-time feedback about how the brain is functioning.

Gap Relief has two types of neurofeedback available as a way to help you "get back to you." Though there are some differences, both types of neurofeedback are completely painless and beneficial for healing from trauma. See which type may be best for you.

Micro-current Neurofeedback

  • During treatment, the system is bathing the entire brain in a micro current frequency that promotes a neurological shift to the parasympathetic "rest" and "digest" state to allow the brain to heal itself.

It is like your brain is experiencing a soft reboot.

  • No conscious interactions are required during treatment.

  • Physical and emotional symptoms are simply documented and tracked by rating symptoms based on frequency or severity (ex. headaches happen 3x a week).

  • Sleep, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Concussions, Addictions, Migraines, Fibromyalgia, Nightmares, Chronic Fatigue, Extreme Emotions, Memory, Strokes, Reflux

  • Sessions are usually 30 minutes.

Actual length of treatment is 4- 7 minutes.

  • The average range for adults is 8-12 sessions before reaching sustainability.

Children can often reach sustainability in fewer sessions.

  • $125/session

$100/session if 12 or more paid in advance

NeuroOptimal Neurofeedback

  • During treatment, the system is carefully retraining the brain to create new pathways through frequency and sound.

It is like your brain is learning new software.

  • No conscious interactions are required during treatment.

  • With each session, a brief training or resource will be provided to further aid each person in maintaining lasting changes.

  • ADD/ADHD, Behavioral Disorders, Executive Functioning, Autism Spectrum, ODD, Brain Fog, Addictions, Strokes, FASD

  • An average of 6-10 sessions is needed to begin seeing changes. This is exercise for your brain - as such, lasting change takes more "exercise" - generally 20-30 sessions.

Children often reach sustainability in fewer sessions.
